Extended Hope for Japan

Since many people I know hold Japan close to their hearts, and a few of my friends have lost loved ones to the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan within these past two days, I felt that I should make something for those citizens who are in similar situations such as my friends'.

As for the art piece itself, the hand above is composed of headlines pertaining to relief, help, and aid concerning Japan, and the red hand below consists of the more tragic headlines that I've stumbled upon within the past few days. It's not anatomically stunning or anything, but the focus was more on the message : )

For those of you who have been affected by the events that have occurred, my hopes and best wishes are with you and your family. I sincerely hope that all of the aftermath of the earthquake will reside as quickly as possible, and that all of the relief work and aid that has been offered will help the people of Japan soon.
